The gallbladder is a small pear-shaped organ located on the right side of your abdomen that stores bile juice that is secreted by the liver. However, in some cases the bile juice deposits into the gallbladder for a long time which hardens into gallstones.
These gallstones occur in various sizes which can range from grain of sand to a gold ball. While the smaller gallstones go on their own the bigger one needs to be surgically removed which includes removal of the entire gallbladder.
